SAN MARCO CRANES SRL performs its activity in the branch of building equipments and manufactures self-erecting cranes and tower cranes for the lifting of constructions material in the building sites.

The manufacturing process includes automatic cutting lines for the row material, shapes and locating devices for the assembling and for the welding of the framing, even with the use of mechanical robot, mechanical working with programmed machine tools, an assembly line with several working stations for the complete assembly of the crane. The plant is provided with an internal handling system, with gantry cranes for the movement of the goods and modern technical equipment for the production of cranes that can be included in a plant of a high technological level as San Marco is. The machines are manufactured as per a design that provides all necessary information for the purchase, the installation, the assembly and the working of the materials. The framings are manufactured with high quality steel, all the purchased parts are followed by quality certification of the manufacturer and sample inspection is made before the use of each type of material. As a proof of the reached quality and safety level, the conformity of the commissioned San Marco machines in the building sites is certified as per European, North America, Russian etc… manufacturing and safety normative. The commercial organization of San Marco Cranes srl is organized, in Italy and abroad, with dealers and importers in order to allow the sale of the cranes and guarantee a complete post-sale technical assistance to the customers in relation to the assembly, the maintenance of the cranes and the supply of spare parts. All those characteristics and equipment that are considered exceptional for all cranes manufacturers, are considered current for all San Marco cranes models. All the structural parts are manufactured with high-resistance steel to guarantee the use and the functioning of the machines up to some minus dozen Celsius degrees. The electrical components are placed inside air-conditioned panels to assure its functioning even in particular environmental conditions. All the work operations are driven by electrical motors power-supplied by inverters, the control devices (all the cranes are provided with radio remote control and cable remote control) give the possibility to choose between four different speeds for all work-operations. The use of safety devices exceeds what indicated by the normative, i.e. lifting safety sensors, winding monitoring, limit switches warning signals, wind-indicator with indicator devices etc, are always included. On bigger size cranes a special device assures the progressive stop of the rotation movement even in case of unexpected breakdown of the electrical power supply to the inverter.
